    Paul Hicks is an urban planner with 17 years of professional experience in planning and economic development having worked with all levels of government, and private sector clients across Canada, on a diverse range of projects including development approvals, municipal planning services, public consultation, and strategic planning. He has developed municipal plans, zoning by-laws, and community improvement plans, undertaken all manner of development approvals, and has provided expert testimony on land use planning. He has specific experience in coordinating and incorporating planning approvals within multi-jurisdictional approvals processes, having worked on environmental assessments, mine remediation, and waste disposal site approvals.

    Mike is a bilingual urban planner with a background in development and policy planning. Through his extensive professional experience, he has had the opportunity to work on a range of planning projects, specializing in development applications from small residential infill to large scale mixed-use developments for both private and public sector clients. In addition, Mike has assisted in the preparation and review of policy and regulatory documents for various municipalities across Canada and acted as an expert witness before the Ontario Municipal Board / Local Planning Appeals Tribunal. Mike has had the opportunity to explore other matters of interest including heritage protection, design work and planning for urban cycling. This depth of experience has allowed Mike to employ and hone his exemplary communication and technical skills.

    Michelle is an urban designer with professional experience in both Architecture and Urban Design. Her experience has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of project design ranging from small-scale residential developments to master planned communities. She has worked for both private and public sector clients in Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Nunavut and England.

    With a background in Urbanism, Michelle obtained her Bachelor of Architectural Studies in 2015. Michelle has successfully contributed to a broad range of design projects including Concept Plans, Urban Design Guidelines, Official Plans, Zoning By-Law, Design Manuals, Landscape Concept Design, Renderings, and other graphic design material. Her passion stems from her understanding of built-form and its role in shaping the future of our communities.

    Jesse is an urban planner with professional experience split between the public sectors in Alberta and Ontario with a background in policy development, development approvals, and geographic information systems. He has assisted in the development and implementation of municipal/intermunicipal plans, zoning by-laws, community improvement initiatives, and public engagement strategies.

    Jesse has specific experience working with various municipal and provincial agencies, private sector constituents and the general public to coordinate planning approvals for official plan/zoning amendments, consents/plans of subdivision, and site plan control, as well as facilitating public engagement sessions. He has also developed urban design and land use concepts for sites.

    Natalie is a bilingual Urban Planner with 17 years of experience working in both public and private sector environments within the City of Ottawa and in other municipalities throughout Ontario, Northern Quebec and Nunavut. Her experience includes managing policy planning and high-profile development approvals projects including Community Design Plans, Master Plans, Optimization Studies, Official Plan and Zoning By-law Updates, Special Projects, Due Diligence Analysis and Planning Approval applications. Natalie has a keen interest in growth and change management and endeavours to meet these challenges by supporting development that makes efficient use of land and infrastructure, promotes a vibrant local economy, protects the environment and natural resources, addresses social equality and engages stakeholders.
