Queen West BIA Dashboard Toronto
Client: QWBIA
Year: 2024
Focus Areas: Dashboarding, GIS, Public Realm Analysis
Over the last few months, Tate Economic Research Inc. and Re:Public Urbanism have been working together to develop a dashboard for the Queen Street West Business Improvement Area (QWBIA) in Downtown Toronto. We’re proud to announce that the dashboard is live this month, and we’re excited to share!
GIS dashboards often combine maps, charts, and other visuals to represent a wide catalogue of data in a clear and interactive way. Depending on the focus of the dashboard, these tools can be used to simply share up-to-date information on a topic or area, or be directly used in decision-making processes.
For Queen Street West, the team created a custom dashboard to assist with the implementation of the BIA’s Retail Strategy, prepared by Tate Economic Research Inc. The dashboard will support data monitoring and informed decision-making amidst an evolving retail landscape and construction of the Ontario Line in the BIA.
