Niagara Regional Housing, Consolidated Housing Master Plan

The CHMP focused on studying and combining the portfolio characteristics, housing market trends, housing needs, funding, and construction and the time component of all these factors to create a prioritization schedule that would drive the final implementation. The intent of the CHMP is to serve as a guide to plan the development of new affordable housing units during a period between 2022 and 2045, taking into consideration the magnitude of housing need in each municipality, existing housing assets, its condition and potential renewal and other potential sites (referred to in this report as Prospective Sites) in the constituent municipalities under the Region.
