Taku River First Nation
Re:Public Urbanism was retained by the Colliers Project Leaders to undertake consultations with the The Taku River Tlingit First Nation about a proposed access road. The purpose of these consultations was to develop a better understanding the community’s priorities for the future access road, and to assess design and construction considerations that should be incorporated into the work programme of the party, or parties, who will eventually be retained to construct the road.
Re:Public designed and delivered a thorough engagement strategy that included interviews with a range of Taku River Tlingit First Nation’s administrative teams, and a community workshop held the Atlin Recreation Centre which included roundtable discussions and a community asset mapping exercise.
